You're probably losing sleep, feeling mega hungry and panic buying things you don't even need.
Common symptoms include during 6th month of pregnancy:
- Whitish excreta from the vagina
- Pain in the underbelly caused by tension of the ligaments supporting the uterus
- Itching skin of the abdomen
- Pains in the lower back

Common Physical Changes during 6th month of Pregnancy :
- Increase weight : you will have gained quite a bit of weight as your baby grows. This will make spending prolonged stretches of time on your feet more uncomfortable, so put your feet up throughout the day whenever you can.
- Uncomfortable sleep : your size might also make finding a comfortable sleeping position more difficult; try using plenty of pillows to support you as you rest.
- Itchy Skin : you might feel as your skin stretches can be helped by applying moisturizer.
- Swelling : You might also experience swelling of your feet, ankles, hands, and face

- Do eat seafood (pregnant women should avoid raw fish and fish that may contain high levels of mercury.Examples of fish containing high levels of mercury include: shark,swordfish,tilefish,king mackerel)
- Do work out
- Do get lots of sleep (Aim for 7-9 hours of shut-eye each night. Fatigue is a sign that your body needs more rest, so give yourself all the sleep you can.)
- Do take a multivitamin
Don't :
- Don’t sit in a hot tub or sauna
- Don’t eat unpasteurized milk products
- Don’t eat deli meat(Deli meats — including hot dogs, sausages, smoked salmon, and other cured meats — can cause foodborne illness, such as listeriosis and toxoplasmosis.)
- Don’t eat raw meat (Raw and undercooked meat and eggs carry the risk of foodborne illness, such as listeriosis and toxoplasmosis. Food poisoning is also a possibility.)
- Don’t drink alcohol
- Don’t smoke
Tests In The 6th Month Of Pregnancy
- Measurements of weight and blood pressure
- Urine tests for protein and sugar
- Listening to the heart of the fetus
- Measurement of the fundal height of the uterus
- Measuring of the size of the uterus and determination of the position of the fetus during external examination
- Examination of limbs for swellings and varicose veins
- Discussion of the questions and problems with the future mother.
- If you don’t count 4-5 movements of the fetus per hour this can signify a problem with the baby.
- You should feel on average 1-2 movements every 10 minutes.
- But if you don’t count 5-10 movements during an hour lie down and rest after drinking some milk or eating something.
- Then try to count again.
- If you suffer from bleedings from the anus from time to time. Sometimes this is a sign of serious disease.
- If your experience 5 or more uterus contractions per hour.
- With excretion of blood from the vagina.
- With painful urination.
- With acute or prolonged nagging pains in the abdomen.
- With acute or continuous vomiting.
- If you suffer from nagging pain in the lower back.
- With the sudden bursting of the waters.
- If you feel heavy pressure in the lower pelvis.
- 20-24 weeks of pregnancy – recommended period for 2nd trimester ultrasound.
- Time to check the fetus for physical abnormalities.
- Examination of the placenta and amniotic fluids.
- The size and activity of the baby are examined according to the term of pregnancy
